Kaplan worked at Palantir and held positions at Stanford and Northwestern, and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Kaplan joined Vanta in October 2024 to run US government strategy, and in October 2026 was hiring a Director of Vanta for Government Partnerships.
