Co-founder and CEO of Amp, the AI coding agent spun out of Sourcegraph. Co-founded Sourcegraph in 2013 and was its CEO.
Studied computer science at Stanford. Was an early engineer at Bleacher Report. At Palantir he was a forward deployed engineer on work for two of the top five US banks after the housing crisis. Co-founded Sourcegraph with Beyang Liu in 2013 and led the Amp spinout in Dec 2025.
